Stunning stars and popular singer confirmed for Shah Rukh Khan's Access All AreasShah Rukh Khan's added some more star power to his Access All Areas show in Dubai! Madhuri Dixit, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez are confirmed to be at the concert that also features SRK's 'Chennai Express' co-star Deepika Padukone.

Access All Areas will premiere on 1 December for one night only at the 25,000-seater Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Sports City. The event will feature a grand entry for each star and uniquely choreographed fab acts.

Expect top moments from Shah Rukh's box office hits, including 'Chennai Express' that grossed record collections of more than Dhs230 million from the sale of tickets, and has become Bollywood's biggest blockbuster of all time. Access All Areas will mark SRK's first live performance in Dubai since 2008.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan never fails to surprise. 

At a recent party, the charismatic Khan climbed on top of a table and entertained the guests with his moves. The fact that he was accompanied by veteran filmmaker Subhash Ghai just added to the fun.

A Mid-Day report says that SRK, who was a guest at Subhash Ghai's recent bash, was in a joyful mood. He was there at the party for nearly three hours and was charming everyone with his wit and humour. While he was leaving, he spotted actor Chandan Roy Sanyal and Subhash Ghai dancing on the top of a table. And to everyone's delight, King Khan too joined them and danced on top of the table.

Filmmaker Karan Johar says his friend and colleague Shah Rukh Khan is such a dynamic personality that no matter how many honours he gets, they will never be enough.

Shah Rukh was recently named India's Most Attractive Personality in a survey carried out by the Trust Research Advisory.

"He is dynamic, attractive and he is one of the finest actors this country has seen. No matter how many honours he receives, they are less," the 41-year-old said at the launch of Mandira Bedi's sari store.

Having completed 25 years in the industry, Shah Rukh will celebrate his 48th birthday Nov 2.
"He has reached the pinnacle and I think his love (love of his fans) just continues to grow with every passing year," said the filmmaker.

Karan and Shah Rukh's camaraderie  started with the former's directorial debut "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai" in 1998. They later teamed up for "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham", "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna" and "My Name Is Khan".

Talking to the media at a recent event, Shah Rukh Khan spoke about his shy nature. He said that he was wearing a pair of shorts and was feeling rather awkward when he was shooting for the song Dard-e-Disco from Om Shanti Om. There was a scene where he had to get into water wearing trunks. However, when he saw that there were many female dancers around, SRK chickened out and requested the production team to ask those dancers to leave. It was only after they left that SRK went inside the pool.

He also recalled an incident when he was flying on a British Airways airline and the air hostess asked him his choice of menu. However, since he could not understand her accent, he had to stay hungry during the entire flight.

 Superstar Shah Rukh Khan Saturday enacted the train scene from his "Chennai Express" with Lux Chennai Express contest winner Zarina.

"I would like to thank Lux to give me another opportunity to interact with my adoring fans. I am proud to be associated with this iconic brand," SRK told reporters at the event.

"The train ride has been lucky for me from 'Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' onward," he added.

The actor also did few dance moves with the contestants on stage.

In the contest, Lux presented consumers with a chance to go on a romantic train ride with SRK. All they had to do was to give a missed call on the listed number.

Dance India Dance season 4 is all set to surface on the TV screens once again. Stating that change is the spice of life, the makers of DID (EsselVision) have made a change with the introduction of a new judges' panel.

Accordingly, giving chance to the new talent, choreographer Shruti Merchant (sister ofVaibhavi Merchant), Feroz Khan of 'Maa DaLaadla...' fame and the last but not the leastMuddasar Khan, who choreographed Salman Khan's 'Humka Pini Hai...' and 'Dhinka Chika...' have captured the panel this time, instead of Geeta Kapur, Remo Dsouza and Terrence Lewis.

Feroz Khan in an exlcusive chat with TOI shared on how DID happened to him, the person behind his dancing career and the one and only Shahrukh Khan.

"I didn't know that the production house contacted me for DID as they just asked for my dates and asked whether I am interested in judging a reality show on the channel. Everything was kept under wraps till the time. Only after my look test, I was informed that I will be the next judge on DID. This is how DID happened to me," shared Feroz.

Feroz continued, "As soon as I got to know about judging DID, my first call went to Farah Maa followed by Geeta Maa and both were extremely happy. I would like to give all the credit behind my success to Farah Maa."

As said above that Feroz has choreographed the famous song 'Maa Da Laadla...' and is also assisting Farah Khan over the years, on being asked which actor does he feel is a good student when it comes to dancing, Feroz observed, "All the actors with whom I have worked till date are best. But I would like to take one name, who hasn't changed over time and that's Shahrukh Khan. SRK is someone, whom I knew since long now. I worked with him for the first time duringYes Boss followed by Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and so on and since the time I am observing him and he hasn't changed."

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is likely to become the Goodwill Ambassador of South Korea for its relations with India.

South Korea was looking into the possibility of making Shah Rukh Khan the Goodwill Ambassador, Tae In Chung, a Minister in the Korean Embassy said in an event here.

SRK was in the city to roll out the five millionth car at Hyundai Motor India Limited's manufacturing unit at Irungattukottai here.

The Korean envoy also said the roll out of the five millionth car came at a time when both India and South Korea were marking the 40th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.

Superstar Shahrukh Khan , who is in Cannes, recalled the time when he represented Indian cinema there with Devdas in 2002. He says he hopes to bring more beautiful cinema from the country to the French Riviera. According to sources, SRK was in Cannes to attend a big fat destination wedding. "At Cannes after years. Memories come flooding back of Devdas. Insha Allah will come here to represent India with more beautiful films," Shahrukh posted on Twitter recently. Devdas was screened at a special out-of-competition screening at the Cannes International Film Festival in 2002. Over the years, the presence of Indian films and celebrities has increased at the global film extravaganza which is usually held in May every year.

The Badshah of Bollywood is in Cannes for the wedding of Kunal Grover, son of British socialite Pamela Grover,. Grover is tying the knot with Ria Dubash. Pamela is said to be friends with Bollywood biggies like SRK and his wife Gauri, Rakesh Roshan, Neetu and Rishi Kapoor among others. Even Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor was present in Cannes. It was his first time in Cannes. "In Cannes now for a big fat Indian destination wedding, both for the first time! Still getting used to all the paraphernalia! (spelt correct?)," Tusshar tweeted.

​Hearing about Sachin's retirement made me feel for the first time, how one tends to take things for granted. Like the sun, or water, I had always thought Sachin would never walk away. I feel kind of emptied out. We began our careers more or less together, so there is an affinity I cannot explain, though, of course, he is much younger than me. 

Right now, sitting in Perth, I am getting a cold turkey kind of feeling. I grew up watching Sunil Gavaskar play, and I never thought anyone could possibly ever reach those heights. And then came Sachin. In the early days watching Sachin play, what had struck me was his bohemian simplicity of achieving something big, and I think Sachin never stopped playing freely. 

Though I respect his decision and know that I could never have influenced him, I wish I were in India to persuade him to play for maybe another 10 years? I have had many discussions on cricket with him, and this Almighty of cricket is the most informed expert on the game one can imagine. 

However cliched it sounds, an era has ended with him. There was a thing Sachin had said in an interview a few years ago - 'when people throw stones at you, turn them into milestones' - it is something I'll never forget. 

Sachin's work is his answer to critics 

Sachin replies to his critics on the field, his work is his answer. Because 99.9% who criticise him do not know 0.000% of cricket, as what Sachin has is a gift not just excellence, and one cannot question a gift of God. 

A while ago, my daughter Suhana and I wrote a poem for Sachin, where we had to introduce him on stage, a simple childish one, but he loved it and even asked us for it to keep it. From his great 24-year repertoire of games, one that stays is how he hit Shoaib Akhtar all over the boundary for fours and sixes, when Shoaib was really knocking Sachin out. He played fire with fire. I think it was one of the World Cup matches, though I am not very sure. 

Even today, my IPL team boys tell me, 'However tired Sachin sir is, he comes out and works out'. That kind of dedication is what he is made of. As a child, Sachin may have been born with a gift, but Sachin, the man, backed it with grit and determination. As for what he will do after retirement: I think he has already given the best years of his life to cricket and the sport. 

People don't realise how much he's given - he is an icon, a role model, he has given countless records to match or break. Cricket is already blessed by Sachin. In my opinion, he should now sit back and enjoy. 

A recent memorable moment was with Dilip (Kumar) saab and Sachin. We were shooting for a Filmfare cover with Dilip saab, Amitji and me, and Dilip saab mentioned Sachin's name. I told him the same, and he came to meet Dilip saab. The moment of watching Sachin standing next to Dilip saab was so pure and beautiful, so electrifying, that no camera could have captured that. My favourite shot of Sachin? When he moves away and hits a bouncer for a six from outside the off stump.

One of Bollywood's most famous actors, Shahrukh Khan, says the appeal of Indian cinema lies in its unique combination of escapism and reality.

"King Khan" as he's known has appeared in more than 75 films, from romantic dramas to action thrillers and is one of the world's highest paid actors.

Bollywood, the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai, is one of the world's largest film productions regions producing up to 1,000 films a year.

Shahrukh Khan told Australia Network's #TalkAboutIt India's status as a developing nation is what makes its films different to the rest of the world.

"Somewhere down the line, the fantasies and escapism that we offer in our cinema is a little more real - it's like getting a job or buying a car or settling down with your wife and children," he said.

"They're not very fantastic...we don't yet go and blow up the meteor which is going to hit the earth, we don't have superheroes as yet - our heroes are superheroes.

"It's deep rooted in what society is going through - the escapism is real as yet - very small things which developed nations would take for granted, we take as a thing that you would like to acquire."

Bollywood is mainly known internationally for its 'masala' films. It takes its name from the Indian spice mix - which combine action, comedy, romance and drama.

Khan says mainstream Indian cinema has to have universal appeal.

"India's so diverse with 1.2 billion people [and] not extremely rich in some places," he said.

"When people go to watch a film, they like to think of it as an event for the whole family for the whole year - so the grandmother goes and the great grandson goes,

"So you've got to make a film which includes an interest for everyone - a little bit of action, a little bit of fights, a little bit of song, a little bit of crying, a little bit of happiness - and a big climax."

Khan has been in Australia as part of Parramatta's arts festival - 'Parramasala' - appearing alongside Bollywood stars including Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Jacquelne Fernandez.

He says that family spirit has helped Bollywood cut through to international audiences in Australia, Asia and beyond.

"[Some fans in Germany] said 'Indian films provide us with that button - you put it on...and you feel connected'," he said.

"It kind of takes you back to your roots and culture, and that's why a lot of people in this fast paced world...people want to look back and think of all the good things.

"Why don't we sing and dance a little more in our families?"

After the box office success of the 'Don' franchise, actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar will be teaming up with Shah Rukh Khan yet again but for a Rahul Dholakia project, where the superstar is likely to play a Gujarati don.

The film will be produced by Farhan and his partner Ritesh Sidhwani under their home banner Excel Entertainment Pvt Ltd, and is currently under scripting stage.

"SRK is doing the film. We are not sure when it will go on floors exactly but it will be next year. Shah Rukh is excited about the film but we need to work out the schedule as he has prior commitments," Ritesh said.

As for 'Don 3', the makers want to be sure that they have an exciting script in hand.

"With a franchise like 'Don' and the character, its important to get excited by the script. Neither Shah Rukh, nor Farhan or me wants to get into making a film because there is excitement about it. We also want to be happy with the script if that happens then I would love to do it," he added.

On other films in pipeline, Ritesh said that 'Fukrey 2' as well as Abhishek Kapoor's 'Rock On 2' is being scripted.

'Fukrey' released in June this year and was a hit. The comedy directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba had newcomers like Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh, Richa Chadda, Vishakha Singh, and Priya Anand in lead roles.

"Mrig is thinking about it (sequel). With any sequel you need to be excited about where and how the story is taken ahead. He has got an idea and is working on it. If he's excited about the story then he'll present it to us," Ritesh said.

"It is a great film and people want to see it into a sequel. There are memorable characters in the film which you can take forward," he added.

Melbourne: Sydneysiders are preparing itself to witness the biggest Bollywood event of the year when Shah Rukh Khan will perform at the extravagant musical show 'Temptation Reloaded'. A part of Paramatta's arts festival - 'Parramasala', the show, which will happen today, has already sold 10,000 tickets till now. Khan, 47, is currently travelling with a team of Bollywood stars including Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukherji, Jacqueline Fernandez.

 Sydneysiders are preparing itself to witness the biggest Bollywood event of the year when Shah Rukh Khan will perform at the extravagant musical show 'Temptation Reloaded'. The concert has been relaunched after 2004 and has already been creating huge buzz in Down Under. "We have already recorded over 10,000 sold tickets and hopefully by evening it will touch over 12,000 mark," said a spokesperson of 'Temptation Reloaded'. In an interview to a local ABC channel, Khan, dubbed as a Bollywood's Brad Pitt, said how Bollywood cinema is different from other foreign film industry. "It's a hundred years old industry. I think its the earliest industry in the world," Khan said, adding, "Somewhere down the line the fantasy and escapism we offer in our cinema is somewhat real like getting a job or buying a car or settling down with a happy family. Its not like we go and blow up a meteor with the earth. We don't have superheroes as yet. Our heroes are superheroes who fight against the system. It's deep rooted of what the society is going through." Khan also discussed his love for cricket and the Australian connection through the game. Mentioning about Brett Lee, Khan said 'I keep joking with him if he does not take 10 wickets then he has to come and sing and dance in films. AUCKLAND: How often does it happen that the biggest film star of a country gets a grand welcome by the Prime Minister of another country? That's exactly what happened with Shah Rukh Khan who is currently in New Zealand.

The 'Chennai Express' actor is currently on tour for his Temptations Reloaded tour, and has been in Auckland over the past few days, practising hard for the performance.

Last evening, he was given a grand welcome by the Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key, who also happens to be the Tourism Minister of the country.

The Prime Minister welcomed Shah Rukh Khan with a traditional Maori dance and then presented him with an official New Zealand Black Caps cricket team shirt. As is known, the Cricket World Cup in 2015 will be taking place in Australia and New Zealand.

Shah Rukh Khan also was interested in New Zealand as a filming location for his films ahead and John Key was excited about this development. Recently, films like 'I Hate Luv Storys' and 'Players' have been shot there.

The Temptations Reloaded show kicks off today with Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Rani Mukerji and Jacqueline Fernandez, among others giving company to Shah Rukh Khan.

Top Indian celebrity, Shah Rukh Khan, has arrived in Auckland but is avoiding the media before performing in one of the most expensive shows staged at Vector Arena tomorrow night.

Khan, who flew in from Mumbai via Singapore, tweeted early this afternoon: "In Auckland how pretty is this place?! Now onto rehearsals and stuff. Was so many years ago I performed here ... very different and new."

The photograph with the tweet gives away his hotel location in the central city.

His publicist cancelled media engagements today saying he had arrived late on the plane.

Auckland Indian media published requests for fans not to bother the star and Auckland Airport urged people not to go to the airport.

"Due to public safety and airport operational concerns this week's arrival and departure of the celebrities will now take place in

private," airport corporate affairs manager Simon Lambourne said.

"Fans are advised not to come to the airport as they will not be able to see Mr Khan and the other Bollywood celebrities."

Khan's Temptation Reloaded show, with a cast of 110, will play tomorrow night at Vector Arena with the cheapest tickets - way at the back - going for $199. The best seats in the house go for $650.

Its promoters say it's not the most expensive show performed at Vector - Andrea Bocelli owns that honour.

Khan's arrival coincides with a survey of 5500 urban Indians by the world's biggest online matrimonial service, Shaadi.com, which said Khan was the best celeb for the rugged look. His 26.3 per cent approval for his "rugged avatar" beat out Ranbir Kappor on 21.2 per cent and Hrithik Roshan on 11.03 per cent.

The poll showed that 63.3 per cent of the respondents voted in favour of the rugged look while only 36.7 per cent voted for a clean-shaven look. "The study shows that most women today are looking for a partner who is mature, well groomed and who appears masculine," Shaadi's chief operating officer, Gourav Rakshit, said.

The much anticipated Shah Rukh Khan & Friends: Temptation Reloaded Live in Malaysia 2013 concert, which was scheduled to take place on the 11th Oct remains postponed to a different date.

The concert was initially postponed due to logistic and security issues following US President Barrack Obama's visit on the 10th and 11th October.

"We have postponed and the decision will not be pulled back," said the concert's organising spokesperson, O. Kumaraguru when contacted by Astro AWANI.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak today announced that Obama has postponed his visit due to the temporary US government shutdown.

Kumaraguru explained, if Obama had announced his delay earlier, perhaps the concert could have taken place on the fixed date.

The Shah Rukh Khan & Friends concert is now scheduled to take place before April 2014 and the exact date is expected to be announced by the end of this month.

The announcement was made by the organisers, 2Spicy Entertainment Sdn Bhd and Hitman Solutions Sdn Bhd through a statement  on its ticket selling website www.vip.my.

According to the statement, this (postponement) was due to security reasons, which was brought up following the date of the president's visit to Malaysia being close to the date of the concert.

The statement explains that Obama's visit also raised logistic issues, which may affect the concert.

The statement also stated that fans, who had purchased the tickets can get their refund at any Rock Corner outlets starting 12 October and it processed within 10 working days.

For those who wish to hold on to their tickets, organisers have promised an exclusive fan package on the new date of the concert.

Shah Rukh Khan will sport a new look for his next film Happy New Year. 

In his latest outing in a public event, SRK was spotted with a white streak in his hair. When someone asked him about the mystifying white streak, he revealed that it is the look for the Farah Khan directorial.

"I'm shooting for Happy New Year, for which my hair is dyed. I'm still in the process, and hopefully, everyone will like it," he said.

For Happy New Year, Farah Khan wanted Shahrukh Khan to grow his hair long, as his character will flaunt shoulder-length tresses and the streak is a style statement for the film.
