Much has been written and discussed about the current scenario facing the release plans of Karan Johar's Shahrukh Khan and Kajol starrer, MY NAME IS KHAN. We decided to get the view of senior and well known actor Chunky Pandey, who is a family friend of the Khans. We first asked him about how the Pandey and Khan families were so close and Chunky disclosed "Actually Shahrukh Khan is a friend of my younger brother and so in a way he is a sort of a younger brother to me. Even my wife is a friend of Gauri."
So would he like to say something about the fact that there are roadblocks being put up in the way of MY NAME IS KHAN releasing, to which Chunky says, "I can say a lot, as the subject can be debated endlessly. But that will in no way solve the matter! I just wish that somehow the imbroglio gets sorted out. You see, after all films come and films go but it is us who all have to live together in this beautiful city called Mumbai!"
Well, profound thoughts from the still handsome actor and we too wish the same as Chunky.

ReplyDeleteIf Thakre goons are committing a crime, I find remaining silent on the issue is no less a crime against humanity and civilised society that we all stand for. Beside blaming Thakres for their cheap politics, I also blame the television networks who show these petty goondas while they commit their stupid burning of poster acts. It is what they want.The better sense will prevail only if rest of india raises the voice alongside the sane sections of Mumbai.
