Khan wants to ovetake Tharoor on Twitter

Shah Rukh Khan has claimed that his latest aim is to get more followers than politician Shashi Tharoor on Twitter.

The actor, 44, has just 169,565 followers but Tharoor, India's minister for external affairs, has 661,456.

"In few months I am going to overtake Shashi Tharoor on Twitter. I am going for him. He is our god," Khan told Indian Express.

Tharoor claimed that he would be delighted to be overtaken by someone of Khan's popularity.

"I had predicted this the day Shah Rukh joined Twitter. I will be happy rather than regret it," he said.
