'My Name is Khan', might be at the eye of a storm in Maharashtra but that hasn't put a stop to the film's release. The film, released at the Berlin Film Festival, is predicted to be this year's greatest hit, even better than the 2008 block buster 'Om Shanti Om'.

SRK, who has been facing extensive disapproval and ban in the name of politics, now has a reason to cheer.

Together with his clan, the actor is promoting the film across the globe. After nine long years, MNIK is the first film to bring together Karan, Shahrukh and Kajol.

Peddled as the biggest film of the year for its style and content, MNIK is already a hit even before its release.

Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Karan Johar, who are currently at the 60th Berlin film festival promoting their film, will be glamming up the red carpet for the world premiere of their film today.

Shahrukh, who has captured the hearts of many people with his oodles of style and exceptional acting, has a huge fan base in Western Europe, particularly in the German speaking countries, where there's a colossal increase in fans over the past five years.

Having evoked a huge response at the Berlin film festival, the online tickets for 'MNIK', were sold out in five seconds on eBay for 1000 Euros each.

The Berlin Film Festival organizers, prepared themselves for big crowd for 'MNIK'. It was well known in advance that none of the fans would miss the action.

An Austrian professor who has traveled from Vienna to watch the film is hoping to meet and invite Shahrukh for a conference on Shahrukhology and SRK's global appeal.

The University of Vienna's professor, Elke Mader, who is overwhelmed by King Khan's global presence said, "The Hollywood or German masculine hero is very one dimensional but SRK is different. He's the new global Indian hero who is also the ambassador of Indian culture and Indian cinema."
