The cine star said he was overjoyed that he would be able to share his happiness with cricket fans at Eden Gardens following return of T-20 to India as well as in Kolkata after a gap of one year.
The Second IPL was shifted to South Africa following the 26/11 attack and General Elections in first half of 2009.
Khan, the owner of KKR, told reporters via video conference that he could not make it to the city today to open a ''Para Cricket'' in West Bengal owing to a preoccupation in Mumbai, but always enjoyed the spirit of the city.
He said KKR, in association with Nokia, will host Para cricket in order to create platform for new generation of cricketers.
Khan promised that winners of Para cricket will have chance to play first eleven with KKR this time.
Eden Gardens will host its first match of IPL-3, KKR versus Royal Challengers Bangalore, on March 14.
