Earlier today (Thursday, 4 February), three of Bollywood's biggest stars visited the BBC Asian Network. Speaking to Love Bollywood presenters Raj and Pablo as part of the network's 'Shahrukh Day' tomorrow, Shahrukh Khan, Kajol and Karan Johar talked about their lives, Bollywood and films.
The one hour 'In Conversation with….' in front of the live studio audience, was held at the BBC's Broadcasting House in London and was enjoyed by 150 lucky fans. It also offered BBC Asian Network listeners the rare opportunity to put their questions directly to their heroes.
During the revelatory interview with Raj and Pablo, Kajol talked about her admiration and how in awe she is of Shahrukh and he repaid her gratitude with the same sentiments. Shahrukh also revealed that he thinks Hollywood actress Megan Fox is 'sexy' and that he will be filming his new film in London this summer. Discussing his many successful films, Karan discussed the changing Bollywood industry and how he always has Shahrukh and Kajol in mind when is writing his next Bollywood hit love story.
The station will also celebrate the stars across a number of other shows tomorrow. Adil Ray will wake up the nation from 7am with an interview with Kajol and Shahrukh, talking about Bollywood actresses and their families amongst other topics. Gagan Grewal will close tomorrow's coverage from 6.30pm, with an insightful interview with Shahrukh where he talks about the recent controversies with the IPL.
Sonia Deol speaks to Karan Johar about his successful Bollywood career – this interview will be broadcast on Sonia Deol's new weekday show, on Friday 10 February from 10am.
