Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan is hell bent on making his superhero flick 'Ra.One' a super success. After having roped in hip-hop star Akon in the film, the superstar has now managed to have the legendry English band, 'The Prodigy' on board. The cult music band will be visiting India in January, next year and is likely to commence its work for the film post a concert.
The legendry band will collaborate with music director duo Vishal-Shekhar for the background score of the film. The young hit makers of Bollywood will get a chance to team up with the band which has created chartbusters like 'Smack My Bitch Up' and 'Firestarter'.
Talking to a news daily about the collaboration, music director Vishal said, Vishal says, "We are in discussions with The Prodigy to do a track in RA.One. They are quite keen and so are we. Currently we are in the process of working out schedules. They are playing the Invasion festival in January. So we are going to try and work dates out around that. This will be one of the biggest collaborations ever. Can`t wait."
The crew of the film has many international technicians. It will be edited by Martin Walsh of the 'Chicago' fame.
An insider revealed, "The story of the film is very Indian at heart but the treatment is very high-tech. Hollywood has made a lot more films with superheroes and therefore has a better know-how with the genre."
It seems King Khan is all set to move mountains for his much awaited film. Whether or not his efforts pay off, is something to watch for.
