Will Ankita Lokhande romance Shah Rukh Khan in Happy New Year?Her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput has already taken Bollywood by storm and looks like it's his girlfriend and TV actor Ankita Lokhande's turn to do the same.
According to reports, Ankita Lokhande, who is famous as Archana in hit TV serial Pavitra Rishta, has bagged the role of a lifetine.
If reports are to be believed Marathi mulgi Ankita will be romancing Shah Rukh Khan in Farah Khan's directorial venture Happy New Year.
Reportedly, Ankita was spotted by Shah Rukh Khan in Macau during the IIFA awards, where she was accompanying her boyfriend andKai Po Che actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Shah Rukh Khan feels that her Maharashtrian style makes her fit for the role.
However it is not confirmed by director Farah Khan, who has announced that she would take to social networking site Twitter to announce any developments on the film.
Farah said: "Let me come back (from Dubai) and make the formal announcement. It could well be sooner than you can think."
The film also stars Malayalam superstar Prithviraj, who was last seen in Aurangzeb, Abhishek Bachchan and Farah's Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi co-star Boman Irani in lead roles.
The movie revolves around a bunch of male friends and how situation forces them to participate in a dance competition. The female lead will play the role of a bar dancer, who will help these friends win the dance trophy.
The film is all set to go on floors in September.
